Drag

What does it do to the mind to be raised to believe that happiness was only reserved for others, while for you it would only remain a fleeting friend? Here today gone the next. Waves of glass clashing down on your psyche as you are pulled out of yet another wet dream. Jerking yourself to the idea that maybe just maybe the fairytales existed for you as well. But you open your eyes only to find yourself in the same room

In the same home

Facing the same walls

So I smoke to ease my pain

Long drags of nirvana,

Take

It

Baby

Take this pain away.

Drowning in sorrow, drowning in despair who hears your cries?

Happiness is a joint rapped by the tears of unaccomplished dreams. Fade into the distance, and in day dreams I stay. Because here I am free. So I roll my joint and say my prayers.
